Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on the 22nd of November 1985 in New York City New York) is well-known for her acting abilities across various genres from the period dramas through thrillers to action films. Johansson is born to a renowned architect, as well as producer, was born in New York City. Her twin brother Hunter and she were her youngest siblings. As a young girl of just 7 years old, she began auditioning for television commercials. Soon after she enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and later took classes at the Professional Children's School in Manhattan to further hone her craft. In the year she turned eight old, she starred with Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in Off-Broadway productions. And at age nine her debut film was Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was later seen on the screen in Just Cause (1995), however, her breakthrough was through Manny & Lo a coming of age drama about sisters running away. The film received critical acclaim for her role as a teenager who has been injured in a horrific accident in The Horse Whisperer (1998) and she gained further attention as cynical teen outcast Rebecca in Ghost World (2001). The award-winning actress was the main member of the cast. In addition to her role on the television show she has also been an actor on stage for several years. She performed with stunning grace in Wildflower and other plays. Renee Felice Smith began her journey into the entertainment industry in the early years of her life. Smith was drawn to performing as a child. Smith was offered the first of many acting roles when she was just six. It was a Dannon yogurt TV commercial. Like many actresses who are new have done, she decided to further develop her talents in the theatre. In addition, she worked on other initiatives across the USA and Canada, but Wildflower was her debut on stage show. She attended the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
